Cupecoy is located along the Leeward “Gold Coast” of St Maarten, just 3 minutes south of the French border. It is a stretch of picturesque cliffs and beaches where naturalists tend to flock, but just to the south of Cupecoy is gorgeous Mullet Bay beach, a family oriented, soft sandy beach. Both Cupecoy and Mullet Bay beaches have bars serving lunch and beach chairs. This extremely popular area is home to the Mediterranean style complex of Porto Cupecoy Marina, with its restaurants and shops; the Blue Residences, Shore Point, The Cliff, Cupecoy Beach Club, and Rainbow Beach Club. The Starz casino and several restaurants are nearby, as well as the islands 18-hole golf course and Maho, the night life area of the island.
