We purchased Abigail House over fifteen years ago as a vacation home for our family. We were captivated by the convenient location and old-world charm of this lovely cottage and have carefully updated it to preserve that cozy, welcoming feel.

As our children grew up, we spent many wonderful summers relaxing in the beautiful gardens, hosting family gatherings and celebrations and delighting in all that Niagara has to offer. Now, we feel the time has come to open our vacation home to guests, so that other families and visitors can enjoy the same wonderful experiences and happy memories that our family has cherished over the years.

Our Management Team

We do not live in the Niagara area, so we have carefully selected a top-notch management team to handle your every need. They will be there to welcome you and show you around the house when you arrive. Our guests have found them to be very helpful and well-informed about local attractions and events. They are locally-based so they will quickly respond to any issues that may arise during your stay.

Eric and Janet Trogdon live in the historic old town, Niagara-on-the-Lake. Janet's family has ties to the region pre date world war two when her Father, Henry Wissenz, brought fruit from their farm to be canned at what is now known as the Pillar and Post Inn, a five star hotel with a world class spa.

Eric and Janet enjoy the parks and outdoor activities that the region have to offer, the hiking and biking trails offer endless exploring. A new favourite is kayaking up the Niagara River, it is a wonderous water adventure.

Eric and Janet love to welcome guests and are amazed at the variety of activities they come to experience. From world class live theatre, to golf, to wining and dining, to jet boat rides up the category six rapids on the Niagara River. It not just about Niagara Falls!
