Brewer’s Cottage is located just a short walk from just about everything that matters.  It is the place to stay if you want to park your car and walk or bike to all the local attractions that are popular or better yet, discover some of our local treasures that are so much enjoyed by the residents but not well known to travelers.  With a private driveway, you have off street parking for 2 cars.

This quaint looking bungalow is deceptively spacious.  This rambler/garden room has so many windows you will find it bright with natural sun light.   Curb appeal is abundant as you are welcomed by the inviting front porch, where you can just picture yourself with an early morning coffee and enjoy watching the town come alive!  Or if you are like me, and enjoy a late evening cocktail, this is the time to watch the horse drawn carriage trip trop by and the locals walk their family pets.  You never know what or who you will see stroll by on the sidewalk!

Brewer’s Cottage is a bungalow with everything but the laundry room on the one floor! It was fully renovated just two years ago so everything on the inside is new!  There are about 3 steps to get up to the front porch.  The floor plan is shaped like the letter “L” with the living room/ sitting room and study in the short part facing the street.  The long part of the “L” runs north and south, and houses both bedrooms, both bathrooms, the kitchen plus a little kitchen nook and dining area.  The laundry facilities are on the lower level.

The front door opens into a roomy sitting area and living room with gleaming hard wood floors, this room conveys casual, tasteful comfort.  Come sit at the side window and read your favourite book or plan your adventures.  The rattan chairs invite you to put your feet up and choose a book from the shelf! On the other side of the room is the large gas fire place, TV, sofa and love seat that gives plenty of room to stretch out and relax. Whether it’s a cold winter’s evening, a brisk Spring morning or just to take the chill off of an evening in the Fall, this beautiful fireplace gives an ambiance that just makes you want to sit next to it for at least a little while!    Watch TV if you must, but this inviting space is perfect for conversation or playing games!

Off the living room/ sitting area is a front veranda that is enclosed and overlooks the street.  No matter what the weather is outside you can enjoy the watching everything going on in the street from the windows that surround this room. In the late afternoon the sun pours into the study, giving it the perfect ambiance to kick back and unwind.

The kitchen is a galley style which is well equipped with a fridge, stove, dishwasher, coffee maker, pots, pans, glasses, mugs, cutlery and lots of wine glasses!  Laid out in the perfect triangle, the fridge, stove and sink means there is plenty of room for 2 cooks!  Don’t cook but want to talk to the “chef”?, you can watch all the action while sitting at the table!   The appliances are practically brand new and are stainless steel Frigidaire.  The gleaming granite counter tops are easy to keep clean and you have the conveniences of a coffee maker and microwave.  The large oval table easily accommodates 6 people and is a great space to catch the morning sun!

Are you an early riser? get your e-reader, get the coffee going and catch up on the world news while you relax on the chaise lounge basking in the morning sun!   The dining table can be used for wonderful meals with your friends or to craft on or play games.  Regardless of what you do, that table is where you will build memories, laugh and have good times with your fellow travelers.

The access to the back yard is from the landing area off the kitchen where if you go further downstairs you are in the laundry room.

The airy master bedroom has a 3 piece ensuite bathroom and a queen size bed.  The light coloured carpeting helps keep the room feeling quiet. Great closet space and a desk if you need to have some quiet time or even use it as a change table.

The other bedroom is in the corner of the “L” and has access to the bathroom with the large shower stall.  This bedroom has  two twin beds that can be converted into a king size bed..

The back yard is private with a patio table, chairs and a bbq so Spring, Summer and Fall, you can enjoy the tranquility of a ‘picnic’ like setting but with indoor facilities!!!

This vacation home is perfect for two couples traveling or for grandma and grandpa to have their grandkids (and if you must bring the parents…well, there is room for them too).  The private back yard means the kids have a great space to run around and play ball, just like we did when we were little!  This town is reminiscent of an era gone by where I remember that we played outside until the street lights came on.

Wake up in the morning and you will have numerous little nooks to enjoy that first cup of coffee in your pj’s or get your exercise gear on and go see the sun rise over Fort Niagara and then grab your coffee at the Starbucks on our way back!

While this town offers the best of the best in dining, you will probably enjoy the local grocer’s, bake shops, boutique food stores and local fruit stands to put your own culinary skills to work.

This vacation home offers everything you need from convenience of a home-away-from-home to the relaxation and entertainment that is the perfect mix to the most enjoyable holiday!!

So come and visit, and feel the peace and relaxation of a perfectly situated and prepared vacation home.  Brewer’s Cottage is waiting for you!
