This lovely home has been owned by our family for many, many years. Our parents moved here in 1963 to work for a logging company. They found it a wonderful place to raise their family. The picture is of our mother, Ruth, circa 1940ish. Ruth spent lots of time in Seaside as a youth. Her dad, Reggie, then bought some 'beach cabins' in about 1955 so his family could enjoy the beach more often. In just a few short minutes you can be on the spacious Seaside beach. It's a lovely place for soliloquy or socialization! There's no better place to walk, ride your bike or people watch than the 'Prom' in Seaside and every evening many people come out to view the sunset. The beach has plenty of logs & driftwood to make a bonfire & roast some 'tube steaks'. Many people enjoy clamming & crabbing here also. The charm of the house itself is intriguing & comfortable. Curl up on the sun porch for an cozy afternoon nap. |
