“Dear Paul Just arrived back from our holiday in Villa Dahlia, Nice. We thought you would appreciate some feed back. First impressions of the property were very positive in respect of the location, view, pool area and the house style. Upon closer inspection we found the house to have had great character even though it was some 25 years old. The master bedroom with its ensuite facilities and large balcony were particularly impressive. All the bedrooms were clean and comfortable. The extensive pool area was especially suitable for our party of six people. The lounge area in the house was well equipped with music system, ornamental garden, plasma TV and DVD player. There was plenty of room for the six of us to relax and the view from this room was also fantastic. The kitchen had every conceivable utensil in it which made it possible for me to cook some gourmet meals as everything was at hand including all the spices I needed. However what turned a great holiday into a fantastic one was the attention to detail of the owner – Bertie. In the first place we did not feel confident about driving therefore did not have a car. Bertie on our first day in the Villa drove us to the local supermarket so that we could purchase groceries for the week. She was also in contact on a daily basis to see if we needed anything and really came up trumps when she booked us a table at the roof top restaurant at the Meridion Hotel for my 50th Birthday meal and also organised an excellent trip to Monaco mid week. The combination of a beautiful villa with panoramic views and being able to contact the owner for advice or help when needed combined to give us a super holiday experience.
