Wonderful Location, View, Canal, and Town
We had a family gathering here and all had a great time. The house is right on the water, with lots of chairs to sit looking out at the view. We all sat there talking, working on crosswords together, etc. At intervals all day long you can see large ships and freighters going by, into or out of the canal. Lots of space outside the house for games such as croquet, bocce, beanbag, etc., and lots of shade over it all from trees overhead. Lots of beach for the kids to play; we brought sand toys but a few were already there. Port Colborne was really nice; shopping there is close to the house, plus lots of bars and restaurants; there are several lift bridges over the canal frequently going up and down, and a canal lock is right in town where we liked to watch the ships going through. The house is cottage-y, and there was seaweed sometimes in the water at our beach, but still the kids liked playing in the water. Most times, there was a nice breeze off the lake which made it pleasant being outside and pleasant sleeping. The owner is very nice, approachable and helpful. He obviously loves the place, which apparently has been in the family for decades.

Life was good-very good for our week!
Our family of 10: 6 adults and 4 grandchildren (ages 11 to 5) had a very enjoyable week (July 13-19, 2016) at the Beach House. The kids camped out overnights with "lucky" adults. The hammock was a favorite for reading and swinging. Nickel Beach was nice (watched some para sailers). Nearby pools and diving boards and golf courses and good eateries kept everyone engaged and happy. The picnic table was a good place for family meals and assorted games and arts and crafts. Mother Nature did not cooperate with other planned activities. Because of the prolonged heat wave and extremely dry conditions. Life was good-very good for our week.

Gorgeous Place

We just spent about a week at the cottage, its outdoors is great, lot of room for the kids to play both on the beach and beside the house. We even put up Volleyball nets and had a few good games.
I would definitely go back.

May Long Weekend
We had a FABULOUS time at the Beach House! Our group was large (8 adults and 5 children) but there was plenty of room. We had lots of fun playing soccer in the large open yard, had a blast digging holes in the sand. We spent hours walking along the shoreline, throwing rocks into the water. Every night was bon fire night, roasting marshmellows and eating melted chocolate;o) We would all come year after year! Such a pleasure to find a place big enough to accommodate all of us.

Easter Getaway
Our extended family of 20 spent Easter together at the Beach House. We all had a fantastic time, including the very young and the elders. Children enjoyed the large lakeside property and adults enjoyed the beers by the bonfire and pool table in the basement. The house is well kept and kitchen is well equipped. There are two large fridges to store food for a large group. There are more than enough plates, pots and utensils. For those of you who like to walk, like I do, the Welland canal is 30 minute walk away. You’ll find little shops and cafés there.
Tom, the owner, was very professional, helpful and a pleasure to deal with.
I highly recommend the Beach House for a quick getaway from the city.

Simply Amazing
We had came across this cottage listing online, and was simply in awe from the pictures. I had contacted Tom about renting it for a reunion of friends for the holidays and he was more than helpful to set it up! Communicating with Tom was very good as emails were swapped and he greeted us once we got there to give us a tour and some guidance on the grill and fire pit! The view of the beach just sums it all up, with a gorgeous view! Having a couple of drinks at night by the fire and grilling up some dead meat was a nice outdoor experience! Walks by the beach was astonishing as well and the view of the lighthouse at night was spectacular! The house is very well maintained, cottage like, perfect amount of rooms and spacious for a big group such as ours! We had the time of our life as this made it a reunion to remember as we are looking forward to rent again in the new year! Thanks again Tom!

Awesome Rental!!!
This is our second time renting the Port Colborne Beach house, We absolutely enjoyed it both times. We were here at the end of summer and enjoyed the relaxing view along with a nice fire for an all girls weekend getaway and this time was winter and it was just as cozy our family and friends joined us for Christmas and it was the most fun we've had at Christmas. The Beach house has so much to offer, the boys can play pool, while the others can enjoy a cozy fire in the outdoor fireplace, or just enjoy time with your family inside the cozy beach house. There's plenty of room to have fun! The Beach house is so unique and cottage like but it's huge and has 6 bedrooms so there is room for everyone! The owner Tom is super nice and amazing to deal with. We will rent the beach house time and time again I'm sure!! If you're interested in renting DO IT!!....You won't be disappointed!!!

I rented this cottage for the weekend of Oct 4. 2013
It was wonderful. The house has everything you need need in terms of kitchen tools, pots and plates. The cottage itself is very well kept and looks beautiful. We enjoyed a few fires during our stay.
Thanks for the rental it was fun.

Great location with beautiful views

Our family enjoyed a great weekend at the Port Colborne Beach House. The view from the beach is fantastic and the location is very convenient to all the attractions in the Niagara Region. Thomas, the owner, was also very good to work with and made the renting process enjoyable.

joyous, restful week!
This spacious six bedroom Beach house was a place of great celebration for my extended family this Victoria Day weekend as we gathered to celebrate my sisters graduation.
We had the shores of Lake Erie at our footsteps and a fully packed home with laundry, BBQ, utensils, at our finger tips. The neighbours were friendly and Tom, the owner was there to greet us for our arrival, and happy to answer any questions we had prior to booking the rental.
We all had a restful, joyous week and I would book it again!

The property was incredible.
The pictures don't do it as much justice as the beach house deserves. Truly a prime location.
The big group of ours loved it and had a great time.
The communication and professional personality of the owner was very refreshing and appreciated.
Absolutely great deal for a great property.
Great condition and fully equipped. :)
Thank you very much Tom. :)

Fabulous beach home!
My extended family and I spent a glorious week at The Beach House and made some wonderful memories. Daily barbeques, sand castles, shopping and sightseeing excursions into nearby Port Colborne, boat rides, cocktail hour on the beach and bonfires backlit by spectacular sunsets were just some of the highlights. The home is well kept and our host, Tom Suchocki, was most congenial and attentive to detail. The on site laundry facilities, large dining room, off street parking and especially the backyard expanse of private beach were certainly appreciated and enjoyed by my family that came as far as Phoenix and Boston to enjoy being together in southern Ontario.
