| We stayed here over the holidays and it was the highlight of our vacation. The views from the cottage are incredible. I could have stayed out on the deck relaxing every day, just enjoying the tranquility and view.
The cottage itself is quite nice and the bathrooms were recently renovated and very deluxe. The area is very windy at that time of year and being so high up made it challenging to eat outside. The storm shutters rattled at night from the wind too but still worth it.
The entrance to the gated neighborhood can be easily missed so we soon learned to watch for landmarks. The road up to the cottage is very steep but worth it for the view and privacy.
You do need to drive to go anywhere so we tried to eat in Oyster Pond at night and go exploring elsewhere during the day. Dinghy Dock Bar was a fun place to grab a drink and meet interesting people coming into the harbor. Canoa was a very nice restaurant - ask for an outside table if the weather permits and get a reservation if it's a peak season.
