| This villa is the most well appointed place we have ever stayed! Everything we needed or wanted it had, from cards and games, to a flat iron for my hair, to a kitchen that had absolutely everything! Want to watch a movie - they had them, in French & English! Want to read a book, they had those too! They even had a Ipod dock so I could listen to my music from my Iphone and a huge radio that you could play by the pool.
The bedrooms were large and nicely decorated. The bathrooms were all travertine and had a Zen like feeling to them. Every room had a sliding door with an ocean view. All of the rooms were left open, even though we only used one, so we got to choose our room.
This is a huge villa, with two pools, and several sitting areas. You could sit outside your room, you could sit by the main floor pool where there was a beautiful teak dining set or you could sit down by the infinity pool, which had a breathtaking view of Happy Bay. The gym even had a view!
The only drawback, which is common in these villas is that the great room had no air conditioning. It did have sliding glass doors that looked out over the incredible view and when they were open it was fantastic. At night you had to close them because of the bugs so it got a little warm.
If you were to go with people, the bedrooms are all interconnected with outside access as well, so it is best to use the outside access so as not to be walking through other people's space. The great thing is that this villa is so large that you wouldn't feel on top of each other and could have your own space if you wanted to relax and read a book by yourself.
The infinity pool is amazing and the view is incredible. You have total privacy thanks to the vegetation and the situation of the villa. There are other villas right there but you can only see rooftops.
Grand Case is a short drive down the hill, there are two security gates and the groundskeeper person lives in the bottom of the villa, but you never know he's there.
I loved this place and I will return, hopefully this time with friends so I can share it with them.
