St Maarten At Its Best

We are frequent travelers and St. Maarten has always been our choice island destination. Villa Dolfijn is a gorgeous, well appointed and clean villa. The views from every room are breathtaking. The gourmet kitchen is a cooks dream. All granite, stainless appliances and plenty of pots, pans & dishes. We spent much time out by the infinity pool over looking the crashing waves and boats. Great for outdoor dining and plenty of comfortable lounges for sun bathing. Located in a gated community, you are minutes from the casino, restaurants and marina. After a glorious day of sun, shopping or gaming on the island, you can retire in a king size memory foam mattress, nice linens and drift off to the sound of oceans waves. What a wonder, relaxing week!!!

Wonderful Vacay with the most amazing view

We arrived at this villa and had issues getting in as the code did not work. Luckily, we were able to connect to the internet at the home and call the manager who showed up immediately to let us in! She was very nice and accommodating! Told us to call if we needed anything and gave us the keys/code and rundown of the home. The home is gorgeous! Plenty of space for 3 couples and you cant hear a thing through the bedroom walls. The view is just unbelievable and all rooms open up to it through glass sliding doors. So much to explore by walking down the stairs to the bottom or taking the road for a walk. Private, clean and top end. Even towels were provided! There are 2 kitchens which is nice if needed. Plenty of chairs outside to lounge in and a nice table to eat at. Gardner and Pool maintenance come 2x/week and keep everything looking fabulous. Everything about this place is top notch and we would go back in a heartbeat!

My family and I stayed at Villa Dolfijn and it was incredible. The views are breathtaking and the villa is beautiful, clean and very comfortable. Everything is top-end quality in the villa. This was our first time in St. Maarten and we cannot wait to go back and stay at Villa Dolfinj!

Fantastic Home

My family of 6 arrived at Villa Dolfijn in August 2013. I have 4 children in their 20's and we have outgrown hotels so we now have rented homes in Hawaii, Costa Rica, NY and NJ beach resorts etc.
It's always a bit nerve racking because I always worry that house won't live up to the photos or description, or if the house even exists. The house does exist and its simply beautiful and in great shape; nothing outdated or in need of repair.
I emailed the owner after our stay that the pictures don't actually describe how nice the house is. The house is decorated very beautifully including one of our favorite photographers prints.
There is a local person who was there when we first arrived and stopped by a few times to make sure that all of needs were taken care of. In our dealings with the owner it was very easy and very professional.
We always rent homes on the ocean' but its hard to describe the view morning noon or night. Standing on the terrace and watching the waves break would have been enough of a vacation for me, but the house was so comfortable for our family that this was an unforgettable vacation.
We liked the location being a short drive to Dawn Beach where we enjoyed a few meals at Mr. Busby's restaurant and we also had a great dinner at Canoa restaurant. for breakfast there is a crepe restaurant on the French side that was delicious. Orient beach is a beautiful beach to go to, but I'm sure when its in season it must be very crowded
We rented a car which is pretty interesting since many of the roads are not paved but it is very easy to get around especially because it was off season and not so crowded which added to our pleasure.
Our best day was a trip to Ile de Pinel. It's a short boat ride on the French side where we had barbecued lobster on the beach. One of our family's best days ever.
We felt very safe the entire time there and have already recommended the Villa to our friends. I miss the time there already.

The Name Says It All

Villa Dolfijn was the best! If you love the ocean, then this is the place to stay. The views from the fabulous ocean view windows accentuate the quality of this classic villa. Each room is exquisite and tastefully decorated. Most of us spent our time in the pool that seemed to flow directly into the ocean through the dolphin statues. A must see to believe! Our family had a vacation of a lifetime. Thank You!

Spectacular!

My husband and I stayed at this Villa for 2 weeks. We abandoned our planned itinerary for a couple day trips to St. Barts & Anguilla...unlikely that anything could surpass all this home offers!
Unbelievable view, privacy, comfort, complete kitchen - to find a tea kettle was the icing on the cake for us!
Familiar with the island's cuisine offerings, we have a list of favorite restaurants...ended up at half of those planned because we so enjoyed just hanging out in this home. The owners are easy to work with, the house manager is available when needed. Highly recommend.

St Maarten travelers! What a beautiful villa!

We travel to St. Maarten several times a year from Canada and will stay for a month and move around staying in different areas and properties.
I do have to say that this villa is truly one of our favorites. It is offers that home feeling. The location was perfect. So close to the ocean/beach and many incredible restaurants.
Our kids flew in for a few days and they did not want to leave us. What a wonderful time we all had. The pool and view, words will never come to close to how beautiful it is! The home offers plenty of privacy for a larger group. We will stay here again. And it is rare for us to stay in the same place two times.

Excellent time at this villa

Our group had one of the most amazing stays at this place. We LOVED the outdoor/ktichen and BBQ by the pool. We spent most of our time out there. This villa is in a great area and prime location. We were just a minute from the Westin resort and casino and many many great restaurants and beaches. The whole rental process with the owners was smooth and easy, They were very friendly helpful and fair as well as the manager who met us at the villa and answered all our questions very thoroughly. We had a great experience and a wonderful stay.

Our second stay at this fabulous villa and again we are very impressed. The location and how close and convenient it is to everything. The whole property is just amazing! We will return in the Spring and are looking forward to it!

Absolutely Beautiful Villa

This villa is one of most gorgeous villas I have ever stayed at.
We had 6 people in our group and we all had privacy and the villa was very spacious for all of us to move about.
The pool was beautiful and the view breathtaking. Our stay was too short but one of the best trips to the island as we picked the perfect place.
Recommended for: Age 55+, Adventure seekers, Girls getaway, Sightseeing, Families with teenagers, Families with young children, People with disabilities, Romantic getaway
