Situated on the border of the Montnegre National Park, in the mountains just outside the center of Sant Cebrià de Vallalta (valle alta = 'high valley'), about 6 km from its sister beach town of Sant Pol and thus only about 8 km from the nearest beach, Villa CatalAruba proudly features wonderful mountain valley views as well as panoramic views of the Mediterranean sea from many angles on its premises!

Accessed via a swirling road through the dense lush woods just outisde the center of Sant Cebrià de Vallalta, you will arrive like an oasis at the entrance of the private subdivision of Can Palau (some GPS devices even recognize it as a separate town/city, but it is actually a subdivision within the municipality of Sant Cebrià de Vallalta). Can Palau is one of the several subdivisions and towns brought to their existence as middle- and high-income inhabitants of Barcelona sought more comfort and relaxation, by building their own private second home and weekend escape, high up in the hills near this metropolitan city.  

Due to its excellent location, Villa CatalAruba thus lends quick and easy access to not only the huge national park (measuring more than 150 square kilometers!) to which it borders, but also to the many great towns, beaches and landmarks along the Costa Maresme and the Costa Brava. Yes, great beaches, towns as well as beach ambiances at and around Arenys de Mar, Sant Pol de Mar, Calella, Tossa de Mar, Platja D'Aro and Lloret de Mar, just to name a few of the countless well-known locations. Most importantly, it is centrally located between two major cities of Catalonia, namely the historical city of Girona and the district's capital, Barcelona.

An easy 35-minutes' drive to the south will take you right into downtown Barcelona, currently the second most visited European city (after Paris, France) for its impressive culture, grand architecture, restaurants of Spanish gastronomic perfection, major shopping facilities and unmatching nighttime ambiance.
